Would you like to honor a loved one or celebrate a special milestone in your life? For a donation of $50 you can have a rainbow candle lit and placed upon the altar. Your memorial or honorarium will also appear on the pre-service announcement screen and in the bulletin.

There are 3 types of candles: the traditional rainbow candle, the AIDS/Breast Cancer awareness candle and the St. Francis Candle to remember those special pets in your life. The Tree of Life is located in the Quite Place, a small chapel located to the north of the lobby entrance. The Quite Place was an inspired concept by Ausby E. Lee, a friend of this church who visited annually from his home in Chicago. The Tree of Life was designed by Ron Clark and Associate.

The Prayer Garden with Remembrance Brick is located directly behind the Walt Lawrence & Stephen Lewis Center for Worship and the Art.

The Prayer Garden is beautifully maintained by our wonderful volunteers that make up the Garden Team. They are generally on the campus each Saturday morning doing various work to maintain the Prayer Garden so that it is always accessible and attractive year round. There are benches located in the Prayer Garden for those who wish to spend a little extra time.
